Hi, I’m Hope.

I enjoy supporting folks who are struggling with issues around life direction and finding meaning. In this late stage of capitalism, many people are suffering the consequences of understandable responses to negative life situations and the burdens imposed by modern society. As a therapist, I see myself not as a distant expert but as a fellow human who has also experienced existential anxiety and fear. I strive to guide others through the difficult process of accepting and living with the inevitabilities of human life. Ultimately, I believe lasting wellness and wholeness come from living an embodied and authentic life in attunement with all living beings.

I have mixed European and Indigenous ancestry and am a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. I am always considering the interaction of these identities, both colonizer and colonized and how this impacts how I move in the world. I continuously work to unlearn and heal traumatic internalized white supremacy. I invite my clients to heal and reflect upon their identities from a decolonization lens.

I am available for in-person and virtual sessions in Illinois and am also licensed in Oklahoma where I am available for virtual sessions.
